I am an Authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant who abides by the Code of Conduct for Marriage Celebrants, as specified by the Attorney General’s Department. I feel enormous pleasure and accomplishment being a celebrant as it lets me see and experience such joyous and special occasions in people’s lives.
I was born in Western Australia and have lived in Mount Lawley since 1983. I have been married to my wonderful husband Michael for 30 years and we have two beautiful children who fill our life with pride and joy.
I graduated from Edith Cowan University Western Australia with a Bachelor of Education and worked as an educator for over 25 years. I also hold a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training, and after studying with Academy of Celebrancy, graduated in 2013 with a nationally recognised Certificate IV in Celebrancy.
My decision to become a celebrant happened while I was helping our daughter to plan her wedding. We were talking about the ceremony and the celebrant she was going to book. I thought, “How wonderful it must be to always be a part of one of the most important and exciting days in people’s lives!” I didn’t quite finish my course in time to be the celebrant at our daughter’s wedding but I did get to see how a celebrant plays such a crucial role in a ceremony.

It feels totally natural for me to be a celebrant because I love people and I enjoy organising the events that reflect life's most personal, important and special moments. With professional experience in public speaking and my warm and easy going personality, I can help you to feel comfortable and confident in my ability to plan a ceremony that meets your expectations.
I appreciate how stressful the organisation of a ceremony can be for all involved. My role is to manage the ceremony process so it unfolds with ease for my clients. We will work together to ensure your ceremony expresses your values, beliefs and personalities and is delivered with class.
