In the early summer afternoon sun, with the Swan River and the lush hidden gardens at the iconic and picture-perfect Caversham House wedding venue as their backdrop, Johnny and Annika were married. It was an elegant and romantic wedding, filled with heartfelt vows, beautiful emotions, and delight from their family and friends as they celebrated the union in marriage of Johnny and Annika. All About Image Photography captured these two wonderful humans, showcasing their love for not only each other but also their families and friends.
Every love story starts somewhere, and for Johnny and Annika it was at the drag racing where they met. Johnny was pit-crewing and Annika had gone along with some friends. Johnny, was blown away when he saw Annika in the pit tent and wanted to know more about her, so he used a true blue Aussie pick up line, ”Do you want to jump in my ute tray?” Fast forward a few months, they went camping and not only were the sparks from the campfire flying, but their romance was kindled, and their love story started.
Johnny chose classic black suits for he and his boys, with the addition of black sunglasses which made for some funny photos later in the day. He chose his best friend, younger brother and brother-in-law to be his support crew, and with his very proud mum helping him to pin on the buttonhole, Johnny was ready to marry the love of his life.
Annika looked classically beautiful in her white satin gown, and long dark wavy locks. Her clear court shoes studded in diamantes, were slipped on her feet by mum, and 'Cinderella' aka Annika was ready to walk up the aisle to wear Johnny was waiting on the limestone staircase at Caversham House.
Her bride tribe were her two best friends and sister-in-law, and their white cream satin sheaths finished off the elegant look Annika and Johnny had chosen for their wedding party.
Full of love and laughter, the ceremony officiated by their celebrant, Anne Miller, revealed their love story that had guests laughing, teary-eyed at times, and smiling as the warm afternoon sun started to set. After pronouncing Annika and Johnny married, the waterfall at Caversham House burst into life with a loud cascade and the ceremony came to a close. Guests were ready to party the night away, and headed upstairs to the Main House for drinks on the terrace and then reception inside and under the magnificent chandeliers.
